Join us at YogaOnCrete to enjoy autumn with a lot of sunshine and deep Hatha yoga practice, in the Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga tradition.

All classes and workshops will be in German.


During this week we will use the precision of the postures (asanas) to visit and focus on different areas of our bodies. The practise of asana is not about doing the perfect posture. It’s about using postures to understand and transform ourselves. By starting to observe where we feel tension and where we experience flexibility, we can use the body’s knowledge to understand our limits, physiological and psychological. Sometimes it is the body saying yes and the mind saying no, or vice versa. The purpose of this workshop is to have the body and mind work together while executing a posture. To actually be in an asana and not trying to reach it. To enjoy yoga no matter how flexible we are!

  • Course Program

    Each morning, there will be two hours of yoga practice for all levels (breathing exercises, meditation, asanas). 
    On 5 of the afternoons, we will deepen the practice through special topics workshops (focusing on strength, flexibility, backbends, hip openers, and fascia. 
    The sequence of yoga positions is based on the First Series from Ashtanga Yoga. The positions will be customized depending on the previous experience of the participants. You will learn to connect each position with your breath. You will develop a good feeling for creating a healthy balance between tension and relaxation. You get in better contact with yourself and learn to deal with your limits in a healthy way. Plus, there will be plenty of time to let your soul just dangle! 

    All breakfasts and 5 dinners are offered at the house, while on two of the nights, guests are free to dine out in the village restaurants (not included in the course cost; approx. €15 for a full meal including drinks). In between classes, guests are free to relax and enjoy the beach and sunshine, receive a massage treatment, or explore the village and region. Individual excursions (e.g., coastal hikes or along some of the areas magnificent gorges, boat trips to nearby beaches or coastal villages) can also be arranged at an extra cost.

    doris kaufmannI discovered my love for yoga 20 years ago and have been practising Ashtanga Yoga ever since. The clear structured sequence of asanas helps me not to get too distracted by my monkey-mind during my practice. So this yoga style and yoga philosophy accompany and support me very reliably in challenges that a life with 3 kids and my job as an organizational developer brings.
    In my business, my focus is on the management of emotions. As a yoga teacher, I am oriented to the individual needs of the participants. My philosophy is that yoga should accompany and support us in our everyday life.
    My yoga offer is highly individualized and builds on the experiences of my personal yoga path. ​ I started with Ashtanga Yoga to improve my body. Over time, however, I realized that yoga is much more than physical fitness. Through regular practice and intensive discussion on philosophy, I was able to gain additional knowledge: Asanas (physical exercises), Pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation help calm the mind, focus better and face the challenges of life with more ease.
    With my mixed offer of active, dynamic and more passive yoga units, I want to help people get through everyday life - or even stormy times - as healthily as possible. This can help you focus better, sharpen your own perception and deal with stress more efficiently. 

    In the last few years, I have been able to learn from various national and international teachers. I completed my Hatha Yoga teacher training (Yoga Alliance 500 h) in "Pure Yoga" with Horst Rinnerberger and Margit Kapfer. Regarding Yin Yoga, I was able to learn "Yogawise" from Markus Henning Giess - Yin Therapy - and from David Kim as part of teacher training.

    Booking of room and meals
    The accommodation can be booked by contacting Nikos and Eugenia directly here. Accommodation and half-board (7 brunches and 5 dinners) per person per week:

    • €290 shared accommodation in twin non-ensuite room (with use of communal bathroom) - only for 2 people comign together.
    • €450 single non-ensuite (with use of communal bathroom).
    • €470 / 450 shared en suite twin or double room (on first floor with sea view balcony / on ground floor, with direct access to garden).
    • €745 single en suite accommodation (please note that single room availability is limited).
